I’m back in Europe! And thank you for helping me reach 10,000 followers!

I am delighted to share two things with you today, a surprise ruined by my post title I know however I wanted to get straight into it. Thank you to every one of you beautiful readers for helping me reach 10,000 followers. I couldn’t be happier.

Ten thousand!!! An incredible number and one I could have only dreamt of reaching when I first started blogging. But I love writing and sharing my stories/photos and am delighted I can share them with so many of you.

I apologise in advance however, with me leaving Australia and everything that that involves I am a little delayed with my blog posts. I have been back three weeks now however with everything I have been doing in this time I could not have posted everyday. I went to my step-grans funeral pretty much straight after getting back, and have been up and down the country quite a bit. I have also been to Berlin for a few days to see Muse live, and spent some time exploring the city. So in a way the delay in posting helps me, as it gave me enough time to post all of my Australia photos and gives me time to plan and prepare some in depth posts of my experiences since landing back in Europe.

I have lots to talk about. And I am going to try and put out some longer and more detailed posts for you as I feel each trip has given me more than just the photos. And I love sharing some cool facts about destinations every now and then.

So this is a little sneak peak as to where I have been, but there are a couple more adventures to add in too!!

  1. 10,000!!!!! That’s amazing Sam, well done!!!!

You have really crammed a lot into your 3 weeks back, & was thinking of you often about your Muse concert.

I have become really good email pals with someone who lives right in the Maida Vale area of London, so I hear lots & see lots in the letters. Its great.

    1. Thanks so much Pat, and thank you for being such an amazing follower of mine. I really appreciate every single comment and kind word you send my way.

      1. Well you messaged me asking for help so you do a little chasing ;p

I feel to grow an audience you need to do some chasing. Obviously you have to have posts that people want to read, however some people want to read your blog but don’t know you exist! So for that you have to get out there and make your name heard, or as you call it, chase people 🙂

      2. Well it isn’t so much chasing, more getting your name out there for people to find. So blog consistently, comment on other peoples blogs you like, follow blogs that interest you… these all make your name pop up in their feed and they may love your blog! I blog probably 20 hours a week currently and the more effort I put in, I get a lot more in return 🙂

    1. Thank you! I appreciate it. And keep at it Timothy, my main piece of advice is stick with it and your numbers will always grow. Good luck hitting that 200, I am sure you will get it in no time!

      1. I have been blogging for 5 years now, however it was only once I got to Australia two years ago that I started blogging a lot more frequently and started engaging more with the community. I try to post everyday (which I haven’t the past week as I have been settling back in the UK) and spend around 20 hours currently on my blog a week. This isn’t just posting but commenting on and liking posts I like and following similar blogs. This helps me to get my name out there!

  2. I have recently just started up a blog of my own, which led me to having a scroll through some other travel blogs when I stumbled across your blog and seen your post about reaching 10,000 followers. Congratulations, you seem to have built up a good community of followers- keep up the good work!
